We were told at the beginning of our first lesson that we are allowed to wear our own clothes every Tuesday. Speaking of first lesson mine was dance. Today in dance we played a few games. Our first game had to involve everyone working together. We had to get in a straight line, give our right hand to the person in front of us, and give our left hand to the person behind us. After that, the last person in the line had to crawl to the front between everyone's legs without letting go of each other's hand. When everyone went between everyone's legs, the game was then over. At first we had a lot of trouble but eventually we got the hang of it.
We also played a different game. In this game we were divided into groups of four. everyone had to lay down in the shape of a square. Then you had to put your feet over someone's back while some has thier feet on your back. When we had ourselves settled in all us had to do a push up together. Which ever group of four can stay up for the longest wins the game.
However all the game playing came to an end and it was time to do some work. We were divided into the plays we were doing. After that we had to brainstorm one more time about the word winter. The words that we put down for the brainstorm we had to convert them into a dance piece. For example my group had the word 'cold' up there, we pretended to be cold and warm up ourselves and each other. We were able to choreographed it in a way to where it looked like we were dancing. We were given 20 minutes for this and at the end we had to everyone what we did. While the groups were dancing, our teacher was filming us. She said that she was going to do this often so that way we will remember what we did.
Eventually when both groups were finished with dancing, our teacher gathered us up into a circle. She gave us our next assignment. Our assignment was pretty much the same, the only difference is that this time Miss gave us poems and we picked out the words. We once again put that into dance moves. After that was over we filmed ourselves again but this time we started all over from the beginning. When both groups were finished it was time to pack up and leave.
