Today in Creative & Media Diploma we switched to different classses. Some people went from media to dance (like me!) and some went from art to drama. I am now doing dance and drama in Diploma. Our first period was drama. In drama we were told that we are the practical group. We were then divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. I am in group B. After that the teacher gave each group a different pantomime.
The group I'm in is doing Cinderella and the other group is doing Whittington And His Crazy Cat. Once that part was over we were given scripts and picked out the roles we wanted to play. Once my group got the roles settled we started to rehearse a bit, just running through the script breifly. After 15 minutes of that my group sat around in a circle and discussed the costumes and props that we needed. We carried on with that until drama class.
At period 3 it was time for dance. However, since we didn't know we would be switching to dance nobody had their dance kit. Therefore no dancing took place. So in place of that, we spilt up into groups A + B and were given a big sheet of paper. On that sheet of paper we had to write everything that came into our heads when we saw the word 'winter'. Then after that we listened to the music we made last lesson. Our lesson had came to an end after that.
